Sixty years between the loom and your door.
We are a family of weavers and merchants who have kept the same stall in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar since 1965. This is how a roll of Anatolian cotton becomes the towel on your shelf.
Authentic is not a label we print. It is the only way we have ever worked.
In 1965, our grandfather rented a narrow stall under the vaulted ceilings of the Kapalıçarşı and filled it with cloth he trusted: long-staple cotton, woven on Anatolian looms, sold by the people who made it. He never wrote a mission statement. He simply refused to sell anything he would not put in his own home.
Three generations later, the looms have changed and the orders now travel to more than twenty countries, but the rule has not moved. Every peshtemal, towel, blanket and kilim is still chosen by hand, by people who can tell a good weave from a clever imitation in the time it takes to fold it.
What we sell is simple cloth, made well, by names we know. What you receive is sixty years of saying no to everything else.

It still begins at the same doorway.
Our stall sits where it always has, a few turns from the Nuruosmaniye gate. Weavers bring their runs to us first. We touch every batch, reject what doesn't earn its place, and keep only the cloth we would wrap a newborn in.
No warehouse buying. No catalogue we have never held. The doorway is the filter.
Cotton chosen for the next ten years, not the next wash.
Long-staple Aegean cotton, combed and woven dense, finished with hand-knotted fringe. It dries fast, packs flat, and grows softer and thirstier with age. We have customers on their second decade with the same bath sheet.
OEKO-TEX certified yarn, no optical brighteners, no synthetic blends pretending to be cotton.

Three generations, one stall.
A single stall
Our grandfather opens a cloth stall in the Grand Bazaar, selling hand-loomed Anatolian cotton.
Second generation
The family expands into peshtemals and bath linens for Istanbul's working hammams.
Beyond the Bazaar
The first international orders ship abroad; the full collection moves online.
Twenty+ countries
The third generation curates weaves for homes across the world, the old rule intact.
What stays the same.
